The bed is empty
its so quiet
i’m so lonely
I miss you.
~
i miss your face
and your smile
its seems like forever
but its only been
a little while
~
twelve years together
but it feels like days
why is it
you still make me feel
this way?
~
damn I miss you
in my lonely bed
you are always far way
i know you can not stay.
~
but huny?
Damn I miss you.
but i wouldn’t change it
even if I could.
I miss you.

Happy Tuesday.

Touching. The middle stanza in particular to me, is outstanding. Missing someone makes it seems like the time together is too short no matter the number of physical years there was, the the time apart drags.
Sweet missing thoughts – without these thoughts of missing someone, life is perhaps not as complete.
This is sweet yet sad. Nicely expressed and yes,I can relate 😦
Sometimes as much as you miss someone, you’d still rather miss them than keep them. Have a feeling that this may not be the emotion this poem is portraying, but that’s immediately what I felt – might just be my experiences talking. Very pretty.
