I stand in the darkness
Watching life go by.
So much sadness
Makes me want to cry.
I feel the earth beneath my toes
Feeling life wanting to grow.
I stand in the darkness
Hiding away
No one sees me anyway.
Silently helping an unknown face
As they slip out of place.
All they see is my hand.
Because now
I am the land.
I stand in the darkness
Watching
Waiting
Here.

For so long 
I have hidden in the shadows
Shrinking from the sun
Like a vampire 
on the run.

for so long
I stayed hidden away
watching in envy
as others went to play

For so long
something faded
I became jaded
At Life.

For so long
I have been lost in the shadows
that had become my savior
that had become my only now.

For so long..

For so Long...

For so Long....

Than I swallowed the Red Pill
