Tonight.

Tonight I fight
Tonight I yearn
Tonight I take a breath
Tonight I’m undressed

I’m laid bare
For all to see
Trying to hold on
I grit my teeth

Passion returns
In the eye
Hold on darling
Don’t you cry

Tonight I grieve
Tonight I heal
Tonight I take a chance
Tonight I begin to feel

I’m laid bare

In the eye

Tonight I dance
Tonight I run
Tonight I exhale
Tonight I truly begin to scream

It’s that small ache
That tiny heartbreak
That deep bone sadness
That’s tears one apart

It’s the life of crazy
The life of pain
The fuck all
That makes you go insane

The silence
The sheep
Laying my head down to sleep

The tears
The lies
The most terrible of goodbyes

Why the hell should you care
It’s not like I’m a good maiden fair
I’m just here
Hiding all
Hiding the tear

It’s that tiny ache
That rips apart
Leaves one open
To a broken heart

It’s the life of crazy
The life of shame
I can’t even remember
My own fucking name

The silence
The sheep
Broken soul at my feet

The tears
The lies
Fuck you!
Goodbye.
