My best Friend

My best friend.

 

My best friend is the best.

I take her for granted

I do confess.

 

She is beautiful

Caring and kind.

– can’t believe she’s

A friend of mine.

 

She works tirelesly

To the bone

Helping other’s

In their home.

 

Even though lately

All we do is txt

I know she is there

Unlike all the rest.

 

Through out the years

She has been

A true and loyal friend

 

I might not always show

Just how much her friendship means.

But I want her to know

Without her, I’d fall at the seems.

 

My best friend.

Kickass, loyal and true.

1000 Lanterns

If I flew a 1000 paper lanterns

Way up in the sky

Would you see them from your window

If they flew real high?

 

Would 1000 paper lanterns

Travel that far away?

A 1000 miles through the air

Could they go that far today?

 

Would you know when you saw them

That they came from my heart

That I miss you so much every day

And we are so far apart.

 

And when your sister follows soon

My world will fall apart

And I will send a 1000 lanterns

For both daughters of my heart.

 

And when you see them in the air

Know they are from me.

And that I will love you both

From now through Eternity.

 My beautiful girls.
