Two souls dwell, alas! in my breast. (Johann Wolfgang von Goethe)

Every day I am yearning

Yearning to be free

Everyday I am yearning

yearning to be me.

She hurts inside

She needs to heal

I’m locked inside

wanting to feel.

Where’s the lock?

Where’s the key?

LET ME OUT!

SHE NEEDS ME!

She can’t do this

on her own

the past has shown

she can’t, not alone.

She has me locked

so far away,

I am yearning for the day

SHE MEETS ME.
