I miss the ocean
I miss the ocean
I miss the smell
I miss seeing
The orca tails.
I miss the sand
Between my toes
And when how evening comes
How i froze
I miss the boardwalk
With the fisherman’s poles
And the tall tales they would talk.
And the fisherman’s woes.
I miss the shop on the pier
Where hot coco and crescents
Were a feature you found there
I miss the grins
On my daughters face
As they ran all over the place.
Burying themselves to the chins.
I miss the ocean
I miss the sea
Oh how I miss
The majesty.
I miss the ocean.

Now I understand your comment at my blog! You really miss the ocean–lovely one.
Thanx all 🙂
Sounds like a super place by the sea. I could smell, hear, feel and see it 😉
Just beautiful *sigh* 🙂
Beautiful, beautiful imagery! I hope you get to visit the beach soon. 🙂
Lovely sensory imagery 🙂
I love the ocean and can’t go too long without visiting my muse!
I miss the sounds the most.. the waves, the wind and even the seagulls…
